Anthony Jackson

This is Coach Anthony’s first year as Head Coach of the Greater Norristown PAL Track and Field Club. Coach Anthony is a Wissahickon High School and West Chester University graduate, classes of '09 and '14 respectively, where he was a member of the schools’ track and field teams. Upon graduating from Wissahickon, Anthony was awarded two scholarships from the track team and was also awarded with that year's Team Leadership Award. While running for West Chester, Anthony posted Top 10 times in the 60m Dash and 4x100 Relay. He also ran for Ambler Olympic Club, and Moore Elite Track Club. He has participated in the Meet of Champs run by the Track and Field Coaches Association of Greater Philadelphia, Suburban One American Conference Championships, PIAA District One Championships, and PSAC Championships. Since graduating from West Chester, he has coached at The Church Farm School, MAVERIC Athletic Club and Tacony Academy Charter School, where he was also a high school teacher. Currently, he is pursing a career as a personal trainer and still currently trains and competes in track & field with aspirations of becoming a professional runner. Coach Anthony believes that you can accomplish any goal you establish with “Faith, Determination, Consistency.”

Mikayla Francis

Coach Mikayla is a 2013 graduate of Spring-Ford High School and will be graduating from Cabrini College in 2017. She was a member of TCX—John Barber Track Club in Pottstown from 2007 to 2010 and the Spring-Ford High School Track Team from 2007 to 2012 and was a USTAF Junior Olympian in 2008. In 2012, she qualified for Indoor District 1 and States in the long jump and 4 x 100 relay. Coach Mikayla began her coaching career at GNPAL Track Club in 2014 as an assistant coach in sprints and jumps and is highly skilled in long jump and triple jump. Her philosophy is, “You can do anything you set your mind to.” She is passionate and dedicated to the development of children, both mentally and athletically.

Elias Hildreth

Coach Elias is a graduate of Norristown High School where he ran track from 1979-1983.  He made it to the District 1 Championships three years in a row and received several awards for the 100, 200 and 200 Intermediate Hurdles


CoachPierre Long

Coach Pierre is a graduate of Upper Merion High School and the Tri-City Barber School. He has coached at the Morris Estates Track Club and is a UAGTCA (United Age Group Track Coaches Association) Field Official. Through track and field, Coach Pierre teaches athletes determination, perseverance, endurance and most of all the importance of higher education and the benefits of making good decisions. When he is not involved in track, Coach Pierre is a local businessman (owner and operator of the Hairzone Barber Shop and Salon) and single father raising two very talented daughters, one of whom is an All-American and six time AAU National Championship Medalist.
